Incredibly tight ensemble playing and Allan Holdsworth inspired improvised solos. Since 2009, barely a day goes by that I don't listen to their debut album to bring a smile to my face!

I was humbled by his humbleness, and after a brief conversation about celestial & spiritual matters (such is the nature of Cynic's music!) he invited us to the after show party! It was also great to hang out with two thoroughly nice blokes with good humour; new Cynic band members Max Phelps and Brandon Giffin who played Cynic's complex & challenging music effortlessly... What a night!
