Last night I was lucky enough to meet one of my all-time guitar influences; Paul Masvidal, of the legendary band Cynic. I was humbled by his humbleness, and after a brief conversation about celestial & spiritual matters (such is the nature of Cynic's music!) he invited us to the after show party! It was also great to hang out with two thoroughly nice blokes with good humour; new Cynic band members Max Phelps and Brandon Giffin who played Cynic's complex & challenging music effortlessly... What a night!

2,500 miles of driving, 4 States, 6 National Parks, 16 days, 12 hotels, and an immeasurable amount of bug-splat on the windscreen. Starting out in LA... Venice & Santa Monica...

The next exams are the winter exams which will take place in late November/early December, and the cutoff date for entry is the 1st October.
